Hey green uhm wanted to ask what did you do while making Max/maki cuss i been trying to do more with my lads ocs so they feel kinda of real but i haven't had any good guidence on it so wish you could give me some tips pls

maki was originally a standalone oc but i inserted him into lads as mc, then i decided to scrap his mc variant and made him into an npc-oc thing. he already had an established personality as a standalone oc but since turning him into a lads npc, ive tweaked his personality so he falls into certain tropes. my main advice is to see what type of character you want your oc to be and then branch off from there, slowly working them into the lads world. the lads world should be able to help your oc fit in, and you can and should definitely add more to the lads lore to make your oc fit in. think of the lads world as a foundation for you to build on, and its ok if you write stuff that is slightly altered. the world is your oyster

maki is androgynous with no preference for pronouns but will appear more masc or fem depending on the timeline/circumstances i use he/him by default since linkon maki does come off as more “masculine” because of how he acts to others you wont be able to misgender maki because bro has schrödingers gender so dont worry about it too much however i appreciate you asking anyway
